龙泉洞洞穴结构奇特，景观瑰丽多变，洞府曲折，幽深险峻，阴河暗流，凭添幽趣。洞中的石钟乳，石笋，石柱，晶锥等岩溶景物琳琅满目、惟妙惟肖、气势恢宏。其中神秘的 “倒挂金钩”，瑰丽的珊瑚状石花，令人叹为观止。尤其“龙泉飞瀑”、“绝世鹅管”更是为世界之罕见，国内独有，极具科研和观赏价值。
The cave offers a perilous interest, with a peculiar structure, magnificent and varied landscapes, deep winding dim roads and dangerous undercurrents. 迷宫龙泉洞位于风景秀丽的云台山脚下，洞中的石笋、石钟乳千奇百怪、栩栩如生。洞内有世界上最长的晶体石鹅管、神秘的“倒挂金钩”、瑰丽的珊瑚状石花、以及气势恢宏的天然地下瀑布，令人叹为观止。游于洞中身处迷宫、如临仙境。这里常年恒温，温度在18～19℃，名副其实的冬暖夏凉，是人们休闲度假的首选之地。

洞龙泉风景区位于湖南省益阳市安化县境内，距益阳市130公里，安化县
城28公里，她像一条巨龙，潜卧在风景秀丽的云台山下。是目前湘中地带规模最大的溶洞之一。也是湖南省雪峰湖地质公园的重要组成部分。
龙泉洞形成大约两亿多年以前，是古生界石炭系灰岩经水溶蚀冲刷而成，洞内已探明的洞穴面积约6.9万平方米，垂直高度平均190 m，层数最多处达6层，拥有六大主要景区，上百个景点，已开发长度2.9km。
Longquan Cave(Dragon Spring Cave) is located at a place of Anhua County where is 28 km away from the county town and 130 km from Yiyang of Hunan Province. She is just like a dragon, stretching along under beautiful Yuntai Mountain, and counts as one of the biggest karst cave in center Hunan Province and an important part of Xuefeng Geopark.
Longquan Cave, formatted about 200 million years ago, is shaped by the long-time water erosion of Paleozoic carboniferous limestone. The discovered cave covers an area of about 6.9 square kilometers, with an average vertical height up to 190 m and a length of 2.9 km. It most has 6 layers at some places distributed in six main scenic zones and hundreds of sight spots.
